Seekins Kids Ice Fishing Frenzy

Seekins Kids Ice Fishing Frenzy- Eric Seekins was a many of many talents and cared for this town, but one thing he started that will last forever is the first ever kids only ice fishing derby. This event has continued to this day and is a staple of our department. Each year in collaboration with the Oakland Lions Club this derby is on the first Sunday in February. Kids are the only ones allowed to register and bring in their best fish to weigh in and win prizes and trophies.
