Littlefield Construction is planning to remobilize to Oakland for the sewer main replacement project on Lower Oak Street on April 22, 2024. Their intent is to complete all remaining work on Lower Oak Street and install permanent pavement of all trenches by the week of May 13, 2024. Upon completion of the work on Lower Oak, they will move to Railroad Avenue to begin sewer main replacement on that street. It is anticipated that it will take 3-4 weeks to complete the work on that street. Following Railroad Street, they will proceed to upper Oak Street and Sawtelle Road, where they will be replacing 13 manholes on those streets. All schedules indicated above are estimates, and are dependent on weather and the progression of work.
The Town wishes to thank you for your patience as we wrap up this project. All infrastructure projects are impactful to property owners and the traveling public. These projects, being located in the center of town, certainly have had their impact. However, the Town and Littlefield Construction will continue to make all attempts to minimize the impact to the best of our ability.
